 - We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Steel Structural VDC Technical Office Engineer with proven expertise in steel structure detailing and modeling. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile international projects, applying advanced BIM and Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) workflows to achieve technical excellence and cross-discipline coordination. The ideal candidate is passionate about precision, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to develop within a global engineering team.
 - Key Responsibilities
 - Develop and review structural steel shop drawings, detailing drawings, and coordination drawings using AutoCAD, Advance Steel, and Revit with accuracy and clarity.
 - Apply BIM and VDC workflows to enhance multidisciplinary coordination, reduce conflicts, and improve overall project delivery efficiency.
 - Coordinate effectively with civil, mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams to resolve technical discrepancies.
 - Perform quantity takeoffs, prepare Bills of Materials, and ensure accurate material estimation based on project specifications.
 - Draft and manage Requests for Information (RFIs) to address unclear, missing, or conflicting technical details.
 - Deliver comprehensive as-built drawings and documentation at project handover.

  Qualifications2–4 years of experience in a structural technical office role with a focus on steel structures.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential (minimum 1 year of hands-on experience).Experience using Advance Steel is a strong plus.Strong English communication skills for effective collaboration with international clients.Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical abilities.Proven ability to interpret and analyze complex construction and structural drawings.Previous involvement in U.S.-based projects is advantageous.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with U.S. construction standards and practices.Versatility to handle diverse project types (residential, commercial, industrial, institutional).Demonstrated proactive problem-solving and adaptability.Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers/drafters.In-depth understanding of BIM coordination processes and LOD standards.
