Job Purpose:
Responsible for for driving sales growth and expanding MSC Egypt Cruises’ customer base through proactive engagement, market analysis, handle pricing, contracts, and payment collection while ensuring compliance and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with customers to drive sales growth, ensuring monthly LBs sales targets are consistently achieved.
- Assist in identifying emerging markets, industry trends, and competitive shifts to generate new business opportunities.
- Provide accurate price quotations directly to travel agencies, corporate accounts, and individual clients, tailored to local market conditions and challenges.
- Ensure timely and efficient collection of payments from key clients, maintaining strong financial discipline in payments collection.
- Handle the full contract lifecycle, ensuring timely signing and proper archiving of agreements in compliance with MSC Egypt Cruises regulations.
- Address and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service quality.
- Track competitor activities by gathering and analyzing marketplace information on pricing, cabins, and sales techniques.
- Establish new accounts by organizing daily work schedules and visiting potential sales outlets, mainly travel agencies.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating their issues, identifying solutions, and escalating recommendations to direct manager when necessary.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies and customers through consistent, consistent follow-up.
- Assess customer needs and develop customized proposals to effectively promote and sell MSC Egypt Cruises services.
- Conduct live presentations for travel agency staff to ensure they remain informed about MSC’s latest offerings and service updates.
- Respond promptly to sales inquiries and follow up using appropriate communication channels to maximize conversion.
- Provide management with requested reports, weekly work plans, feedback, monthly objectives, and team evaluations as needed.
- Prepare and submit precise sales and revenue reports, weekly work plans, feedback, monthly objectives, and team performance evaluations to the direct manager.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- Coordinate with approved suppliers to implement and maintain a portfolio of safe, competitive, and brand-compliant shore excursions across Egyptian ports.
- Monitor daily excursion operations, ensure service delivery meets standards, and collect guest feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure all excursions are properly scheduled, staffed, and communicated to relevant departments and guests.
- Handle daily ground handling logistics including guest transfers, airport meet-and-greet, baggage movement, vehicle dispatch, and guide assignments.
- Liaise with port authorities, immigration, customs, and terminal operators to coordinate embarkation and disembarkation processes.
- Maintain daily communication with suppliers, tour operators, DMCs, and government contacts to ensure service continuity.
- Update and distribute daily programs, guest transfer lists, and special requests in alignment with flight schedules and arrival times.
- Coordinate operational tasks with the inland transportation company and ensure financial reporting and reconciliation with ICH.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in business/marketing.Language: Proficiency in both written and spoken English.Specialized knowledge: Knowledge of sales techniques and customer relationship management.Familiarity with the travel and cruise industry, including travel agency operations.Understanding of market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.Ability to prepare sales proposals and conduct professional presentations.Knowledge of handling customer complaints and providing effective solutions.Basic financial awareness related to sales reporting and account management.
