Supply Chain Manager

Role Purpose
Lead and optimize the holding company’s end-to-end supply chain across the construction, heavy steel fabrication, and oil & gas maintenance portfolio, ensuring cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment with group objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop regional/global supply chain strategy tailored to construction, heavy fabrication, and maintenance sectors; ensure cross-market integration and KPI monitoring.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Drive strategic sourcing, vendor partnerships, long-term contracts, and ethical compliance across the sector portfolio.
  • Logistics & Distribution: Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution for heavy materials and equipment; ensure regulatory compliance and tech-enabled visibility.
  • Inventory & Demand Planning: Forecast, plan, and optimize stock for bulky and capital-intensive purchases; align with budgets and cash flow.
  • Transformation & Data Governance: Drive digital SCM platforms, data accuracy, and real-time reporting with sector-specific dashboards.
  • Compliance, Risk & Sustainability: Regulatory compliance, risk management, ESG integration, and sector-specific safety standards.
  • Talent & Culture: Develop regional talent, succession planning, and cross-region collaboration within construction, fabrication, and maintenance teams.

Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain relations with authorities, suppliers, and internal functions; engage with project managers and site leaders


Education: Master’s in SCM/Operations/Business Administration; MBA preferred.Experience: 12+ years global/regional supply chain leadership with construction, fabrication, or oil & gas sector exposure; GCC experience preferred.Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with KSA/Egypt trade, PROs, localization rules, and sector-specific regulatory requirements (safety, environmental, and port/clearance).Leadership: Proven ability to lead matrix teams and multi-year transformations in heavy industries.Technical: Proficient in ERP/SCM, analytics, and governance; experience with industry-specific software and equipment tracking.Language: Fluent English and Arabic.     - Working RelationshipsInternal: Operations, Finance, IT, Compliance, HSE, HR, procurement, logistics; project and site managers.External: Authorities, PROs, logistics providers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
