- A Windows Server Administrator manages, maintains, and secures an organization’s Windows-based server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability. The role combines system configuration, user management, patching, and troubleshooting responsibilities across enterprise IT environments. 
- Key Responsibilities:
-  Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (2019, 2022, or later). 
- Administer and monitor Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related roles.
-  Manage, maintain and administrate Microsoft Exchange.
-  Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
-  Monitor system and network performance, capacity, and uptime
-  Perform server patching, OS updates, and backups to ensure data integrity and security. 
-  Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
-  Troubleshoot and resolve server and application issues, often using tools such as PowerShell, Wireshark, or SIEM Solution. 
-  Knowledge of virtualization platforms such as VMware or AHV for system optimization.
-  Maintain documentation for server configurations, policies, and procedures.
  Experience (3–5+ years) in Windows Server administration. Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and network protocols. Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, CMD) for automation and configuration tasks. Familiarity with backup, security, and patch management systems.  Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or CompTIA Server+ are highly valued.
