Quality Control Systems & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QC procedures and testing protocols for raw materials, in-process, and finished cosmeceutical products.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP), FDA, and local regulatory standards.
- Establish and review product specifications, sampling plans, and acceptance criteria based on product formulations and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain a state of audit readiness at all times.
Technical Oversight & Product Quality
- Supervise analytical and microbiological testing of cosmetic ingredients, bulk, and finished products to ensure conformity with quality standards.
- Oversee physical, chemical, and stability testing, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results.
- Evaluate formulation performance and shelf-life through systematic stability programs.
- Investigate non-conformances, deviations, and customer complaints, implementing root cause analysis and CAPA.
- Implement best practices for sample handling, documentation, and data integrity.
 Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Production and QA to resolve in-process quality issues and ensure smooth production flow.
- Liaise with Suppliers and Procurement to qualify raw materials and packaging components.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and train QC analysts and technicians, building strong technical capabilities and a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
- Establish clear KPIs for QC team performance and monitor achievement against targets.
 Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze test data and trend reports to identify recurring issues and propose preventive measures.
- Drive continuous improvement in QC systems to enhance product quality, efficiency, and compliance.
- Support internal and external audits, maintaining complete documentation and traceability
 
  Education:Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related technical discipline.Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., ISO 22716 Lead Auditor, GMP for Cosmetics, Six Sigma) preferred.Experience:Minimum 7 years of experience in Quality Control within the cosmeceutical, cosmetic, or personal care industry.At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity overseeing laboratory or QC operations.Proven experience with raw material testing, microbiological control, and cosmetic product release.In-depth understanding of ISO 22716 (GMP for Cosmetics), FDA, and local MOH cosmetic regulations.Core Competencies:Strong technical and analytical mindset with problem-solving capability.Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.Effective communication and cross-departmental collaboration abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant quality management software.
