The Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s accounts receivable operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, and reconciliations, while maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including issuing invoices, processing payments, and monitoring receivables.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts receivable reports.
- Support audits by providing accurate financial data and documentation.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to streamline processes and improve cash flow.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and accounting regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounts receivable or similar accounting roles, preferably in large-scale organizations.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
