Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Oversee the Accounting Supervisor and provide guidance across AP, AR, GL, and general accounting activities.
- Collaborate closely with the CFO on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
- Supervise month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure timely submission of financial statements.
- Monitor and support the performance and development of the accounting team.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay current with changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the organization.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).13–15 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.Proven experience managing AP, AR, GL, and team supervision.Proficiency in ERP systems .Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
