- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to gather necessary data for bid preparation.
- Prepare detailed bills of quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns for luxury interior and architectural projects.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure competitive and compliant pricing.
- Develop and submit comprehensive tender documents in line with client requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential cost-saving opportunities during the estimation process.
- Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits to gather essential project information.
- Track and manage tender submissions, clarifications, and post-tender negotiations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, materials, and construction methodologies.
- Support project managers and senior leadership with cost analysis and value engineering recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or a related field.3 to 5 years of proven experience in tendering and estimation within the construction or interior design industry.Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and market pricing.Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and subcontractors.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Familiarity with local and international tendering procedures and regulations.Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
