Responsible for developing and implementing Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and programs to ensure full compliance with regulations, manage risks, and promote a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain HSE policies and management systems.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001 & 14001 standards.
- Lead HSE audits, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
- Provide leadership and guidance to HSE teams and contractors.
- Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Develop and implement HSE training programs for employees.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend control measures.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
- Lead response to accidents and incidents.
- Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor environmental performance and reduce environmental footprint.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related fieldRelevant certifications in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma, IOSH, OSHA)8–15 years of experience in HSE roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial positionProven experience in high-risk industries (e.g., oil and gas, construction, petrochemicals)Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and incident investigations
