Job Summary:
The Showroom Manager is responsible for leading and inspiring the sales team to achieve sales targets and meet the showroom's required standards. This role involves proactively and reactively driving sales and profitability by effectively following up on leads. The Showroom Manager is also responsible for providing innovative ideas and implementing changes to showroom displays and stock to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares branch forecasts to ensure consistency in reaching the annual target and proactively addresses any potential challenges.
- Manages employee performance through regular one-on-one and group meetings to maximize individual and team productivity.
- Monitors the overall performance of the showroom sales team to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Reviews inventory levels using the CRM to ensure product availability for direct sales and minimizes stockouts.
- Follows up with the warehouse on the timely delivery of customer orders to ensure customer satisfaction and commitment.
- Orders showroom display materials from the warehouse to implement the latest designs and maintain shelves according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Reviews the daily cash inflow and outflow in the branch safe against performed transactions to ensure accuracy and reconciliation.
- Meets with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure a positive and satisfactory experience.
- Generates a comprehensive branch monthly progress report through the ERP system to analyze market trends, inventory performance, and staff productivity, and recommends corrective actions as needed.
- Follows up on product reservations using the CRM to maintain accurate forecasting and ensure availability.
- Conducts outdoor visits with or without subordinates to interior designers to maximize branch sales opportunities and/or coaches staff performance in external interactions.
- Conducts technical onboarding sessions for new hires to accelerate their learning curve and ensure product knowledge.
- Tracks and maintains a showroom checklist and oversees general branch maintenance to ensure a presentable and functional environment.
