Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure all accounting records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Review journal entries, general ledger, and trial balance before month-end closing.
- Analyze variances and provide detailed reports on financial performance.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets.
- Track and report budget deviations, providing insights for cost control and efficiency improvement.
- Support management with cash flow forecasts and financial analysis.
- Tax & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws and accounting standards.
- Prepare and submit VAT, withholding, and income tax reports on time.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure proper documentation.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Supervise supplier payments, expense reimbursements, and customer collections.
- Reconcile vendor and customer balances regularly to maintain accuracy.
- Monitor overdue accounts and follow up effectively.
- Bank & Treasury Management
- Handle daily bank transactions, reconciliations, and cash flow monitoring.
- Maintain relationships with banks to ensure smooth financial operations.
- ERP System (Odoo)
- Record and manage all accounting transactions through Odoo ERP.
- Ensure system data integrity and generate accurate reports from ERP.
- Support team members in using the system effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office environment.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.
