We are looking for an experienced Data Science & Machine Learning instructor for a part-time position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Data Science and Machine Learning with the ability to explain advanced concepts in a simple and engaging manner. You will be responsible for teaching students the fundamentals and advanced techniques of Machine Learning as part of the curriculum.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students
- Design and deliver engaging training sessions focusing on Machine Learning, Data Science, and Data Analysis
- Teach machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning
- Provide hands-on experience using Python, its libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.), and frameworks used in Machine Learning
- Deliver practical applications of Machine Learning models, from data preprocessing to model deployment
- Use data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI to present Machine Learning results and insights effectively
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in Machine Learning and Data Science
- Provide students with real-world problems and encourage problem-solving and critical thinking in the context of Machine Learning
- Offer feedback and support to help students improve their understanding and skills
Experience:3+ years of experience in Data Science, with a strong focus on Machine Learning and its applications (preferred) At least 2 years of teaching or training experience in Machine LearningTechnical Skills:Expertise in Python and related libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, etc.)Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms (Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Regression, Classification, Clustering, Deep Learning, etc.)Familiarity with Data Science concepts and statistical analysisProficiency in Tableau and Power BI for presenting and visualizing dataEducational Background:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields (preferred)ITI graduate or relevant certifications in Machine Learning and Data Science (preferred)Soft Skills:Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts simplyAbility to engage students and foster a positive, interactive learning environmentPassion for teaching and mentoring students, especially in Machine LearningCritical thinking and problem-solving abilities
