Foreign Purchasing and Logistics Specialist

  • Manage the end-to-end foreign purchasing process, including sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and equipment from international suppliers.
  • Coordinate logistics operations for the import and export of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchasing and logistics transactions for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as production, quality assurance, and finance to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Ensure adherence to company standards for quality, delivery, and service in all purchasing and logistics activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to optimize the global supply chain and enhance operational efficiency.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.2-4 years of experience in foreign purchasing, international procurement, or logistics, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.Proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and build strong supplier relationships.Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong analytical skills to assess supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.Ability to work on-site and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
