Production Manager

  • The Production Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all production activities to ensure garments are manufactured efficiently, on time, within quality standards, and at the lowest possible cost.
    He/She leads and supervises production teams, ensures smooth coordination with the Technical Office, Embroidery, Printing, and Quality Control departments, and maintains continuous improvement across all production processes.

  • Production Planning and Control
  • Plan and schedule all production activities according to delivery deadlines and capacity.
  • Ensure that production targets are achieved on time and within quality and cost parameters.
  • Coordinate closely with the Technical Office for fabric approvals, patterns, samples, and technical specifications.
  • Monitor daily output and adjust plans to meet production schedules.
  • Follow up on cutting, sewing, embroidery, printing, finishing, and packing processes.
  • Ensure availability of materials, trims, and accessories prior to production runs.
  • Monitor productivity and efficiency across all lines and suggest improvements.

 

  • Quality and Compliance
  • Ensure all garments meet quality standards before delivery.
  • Work closely with the Quality Department to maintain zero defect production.
  • Implement corrective actions for quality issues and track their effectiveness.
  • Ensure all processes comply with company policies, health, and safety standards.

 

 

  • Team Management
  • Supervise, guide, and motivate line supervisors and production staff.
  • Assign daily targets and ensure effective communication between sections.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure training needs are identified.
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Coordination and Communication
  • Liaise with Technical Office, Procurement, and Warehouse to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Collaborate with HR and Admin for workforce planning and labor efficiency.
  • Ensure all production data (output, downtime, rejections) is accurately reported.
  • Attend management meetings and provide regular production status updates.

 

 

 

  • Cost and Efficiency Control
  • Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Control material wastage and improve resource utilization.
  • Ensure machine maintenance schedules are followed to avoid breakdowns.
  • Track production KPIs and propose action plans for improvement.

 

  •  Continuous Improvement
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Analyze bottlenecks and develop improvement initiatives.
  • Encourage innovation and technical enhancement within the production team.

 


Intermediate or above-average qualification, preferably a graduate of an industrial technical institute or garment manufacturing specialization.Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising sewing halls.Strong leadership, follow-up, and stress management skills.Knowledge of machine types, operation methods, and basic maintenance.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and guidance.Personal Attributes:Commitment and punctuality.Good team interaction and ability to motivate workers.Quick decision-making and effective problem-solving.Responsibility and teamwork spirit.
