Main Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Scheduling
Develop and implement the master production schedule (MPS) based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints.
Ensure efficient resource allocation (materials, manpower, and machines) to meet production targets.
Adjust production plans proactively in response to changes in demand, supply delays, or equipment breakdowns.
Material & Capacity Management
Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely supply.
Analyze production capacity and identify bottlenecks or areas for improvement.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure optimal equipment utilization.
Coordination & Communication
Act as the key link between production, supply chain, maintenance, and sales departments.
Communicate production schedules and changes to relevant stakeholders.
Support cross-functional planning meetings and ensure alignment with company objectives.
Performance Monitoring
Track production performance against plans (KPIs: OEE, adherence to plan, efficiency, downtime, etc.).
Identify root causes for deviations and develop corrective actions.
Prepare and present periodic reports on production planning performance.
Continuous Improvement
Lead initiatives to optimize planning processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.
Implement best practices in production scheduling, material flow, and process planning.
Support digital transformation and ERP/MRP system optimization.
Team Leadership
Supervise and develop the Production Planning team.
Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
