Job Purpose

Supervise the team for Voice capacity planning and service design for CS and IMS core network to
fulfil company targets regarding voice and video services.

Report To Position Name

Supervise regular Studies for offloading or expanding any CS core node and prepare the design.
Supervise raising CR (Change request) for modifications and corrections of the Core Elements.
Participate activities in workgroups, network design teams, where solution business aspects are
handled.
Supervise Core Network Component Price Negotiations.
Supervise the handling of proof of concepts, testing and network design validation.
Supervise VAS solution designs from core network side, including link connectivity capacity,
core impact analysis, solution customization
Supervise the process of creating capacity planning standards and guidelines for network's
continued expansion.
Supervise the process of integrating and implementing new network architecture/features to
optimally serve the growth of the Core network in terms of traffic, subscribers and value added

service capacity.
Supervise technical and feasibility studies and provide design for new products and services and
produce feasibility report from core side
Supervise Core network BOQs, quotations and price negotiations with all vendors, for finalizing
the BOQs of the year, including RFP and RFQ preparations, offer evaluation, till end with final
stage of handover to the procurement team.
Supervise in cross functional meetings with key stakeholders involved in the development and
deployment of new Mobile Core Services in order to define best solutions for new products and
services.
Supervise short term future core network strategies, core architecture development and network
roadmaps in order to meet the business targets for reducing OPEX and CAPEX and being in line
with latest technologies evolutions
Supervise the process for studying and implementing new market releases and technology
upgrade path to ensure quick deployment of new and innovative products/services
Supervise long term and short term plans with other operator regarding connectivity details.
Supervise the process of providing LLD for new nodes, expansions & migrations for network
nodes connected to core network.
