Microsoft Dynamics 365 Financial Consultant

  • Collaborate with finance teams to understand their current financial processes, reporting requirements, internal controls, and compliance needs.
  • Analyze client financial requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the financial modules of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Customize the ERP system using configuration where necessary, within the financial context and adhering to Microsoft development standards.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for client finance users on the financial functionalities of the Microsoft ERP system.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation specific to the financial aspects of the implementation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, test plans, and training materials.
  • Perform system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for financial processes and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the financial modules during implementation, testing, and post-go-live phases.

 

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the financial aspects of implemented ERP systems, including system upgrades and enhancements related to finance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations updates, and financial accounting best practices.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on how to best leverage the financial capabilities of the Microsoft ERP system to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including project managers, functional consultants in other areas, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements within the financial domain for clients.
  • Assist clients with financial reporting design and implementation using tools such as Power BI, or other relevant reporting solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations within the implemented ERP system.
  • Ensure successful integration with other critical Business Applications.
  • Have certification in Ms Dynamics is a plus

Experience with FMCG industry solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365.Proven experience (typically 3+ years) as an ERP Financial Consultant, with a strong focus on the financial modules of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance and Operations).Deep understanding of core financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations.Hands-on experience in configuring and implementing the financial modules of Microsoft Dynamics 365.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex financial processes and translate them into system requirements.Excellent communication (both written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience in conducting workshops and training sessions for finance users.Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, tasks, and stakeholders within the financial workstream.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong work ethic and a commitment to client satisfaction.
