We are hiring a Production & Maintenance Manager for a leading cookware manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
Lead all production and maintenance operations, manage resources and budgets, implement efficiency and quality initiatives, ensure safety compliance, and supervise preventive & corrective maintenance programs.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Supervise all production and maintenance activities including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Manage the production & maintenance team (hiring, training, evaluating performance).
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and 5S practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee process engineering initiatives to optimize production workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
- Analyze production data to identify improvement areas and implement solutions.
- Coordinate with procurement, quality, and supply chain teams for smooth operations.
- Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and provide regular reports.
- Oversee maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Prepare performance reports and provide recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering (or related field).10–15 years of experience in production & maintenance management, preferably in manufacturing.Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, and Process Engineering.Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and organizational abilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
