- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure alignment on project scope and costs.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Monitor and report on project expenditures, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
- Prepare and review tender documents, bills of quantities, and contract documentation.
- Evaluate and process change orders, variations, and claims in accordance with contract terms.
- Support the preparation of monthly valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.3 to 5 years of proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction or real estate sector.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.Excellent analytical and numerical skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong negotiation and communication abilities.Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment and conduct site visits as required.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.Familiarity with tendering and contract administration processes.Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
