- Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage general ledger functions, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing processes.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving audit inquiries.
- Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and training to foster professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within the hospitality or service industry.Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation, general ledger management, and month-end close processes.Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant accounting standards.Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.Ability to supervise and mentor junior team members.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all financial matters.
