- Supervise and oversee all mechanical site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within overall project plans.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to guide site execution and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
- Manage subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring adherence to project timelines and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify any deviations or non-conformities in mechanical works.
- Prepare and maintain detailed site reports, progress updates, and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with local codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Facilitate procurement and timely delivery of mechanical materials and equipment to the site.
- Support the resolution of technical challenges and provide expert guidance to junior engineers and site teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.5 to 7 years of proven experience in mechanical site engineering within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.Demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.Experience managing site teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Effective communication and leadership skills.Willingness to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
