- Coordinate with design, site, and procurement teams to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop material take-offs and bill of quantities for mechanical systems, supporting accurate procurement and budgeting.
- Review and validate subcontractor and supplier technical submittals for mechanical equipment and materials.
- Monitor project progress and provide technical support to site teams, addressing any discrepancies or challenges.
- Ensure all mechanical designs adhere to local codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives for mechanical systems.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, logs, and as-built drawings.
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules and monitor adherence to timelines for mechanical works.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities to obtain necessary approvals and resolve technical queries.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.5 to 9 years of proven experience in a technical office or design role within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and standards.Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
