- Deliver engaging and interactive ICT lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum standards of the American sections.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that foster students’ understanding of computer science, digital literacy, and responsible technology use.
- Integrate technology into classroom activities to enhance learning outcomes and promote digital citizenship.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and educational best practices, incorporating innovative tools and methods into teaching.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and school-wide technology initiatives.
- Support students in extracurricular ICT activities, such as coding clubs, competitions, or digital projects.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development sessions, staff meetings, and school events as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Information and Communication Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.2-3 years of proven experience teaching ICT or computer science at the elementary or secondary level.Familiarity with American curriculum standards is highly desirable.Strong classroom management and organizational skills.Ability to design and deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse student needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in integrating educational technology and digital tools into teaching.Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.Ability to work onsite at the school’s Maadi campus.
