- Develop and prepare detailed structural designs and drawings for various building and infrastructure projects.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
- Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress.
- Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and project proposals as required.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure the quality and accuracy of materials and construction methods.
- Identify and resolve design challenges or discrepancies during the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all structural designs adhere to local, national, and international building codes and regulations.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.3 to 5 years of proven experience in structural design engineering roles.Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or similar.Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.Experience with both reinforced concrete and steel structures.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.Willingness to work onsite as required by project demands.
