Job Purpose
To manage, develop and coach Packet Switch core team to ensure the mobile services including international roaming perform with high level of consistency, reliability and efficiency.
Report To Position Name
Lead and coach PS core teams in the Network Operations & Maintenance to achieve department goals.
Analyze the reports of operations & maintenance parameters including hardware and software fault reports to apply any improvement needed.
Control and coordinate the implementation procedures related to operation, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of Packet Switching nodes.
Manage the acceptance tests for Packet Switching nodes according to Etisalat standards.
Provide professional direction to subordinates, evaluates their performance and carries out necessary counseling to ensure acceptable level of work productivity
Identify training needs of subordinates to ensure continuous enhancement of skills and attitudes
Extend the technical support to other Departments in Etisalat; like Fraud Control, Revenue Assurance, Marketing, sales, IT…etc
Participate in the preparation and evaluation of the RFP of new systems across different departments.
Manage & Control international roaming including the roaming database, troubleshooting, testing and analysis in order to keep efficient use of international roaming services
Manage the team to ensure technical support for all other departments, as well as troubleshooting all complaints received from Mobily contact center
