• Manage tools and equipment resources effectively, ensuring losses and damage are kept to a minimum, with replacements and repairs organised promptly.
• Learn and apply planning processes and systems to ensure assets are maintained to the highest standard.
• Spend time on-site to scope jobs and learn how they are executed.
• Contribute to and maintain awareness of current work plans, priorities, and relevant operational issues.
• Serve as a recognised expert in the use of the company SAP system for all relevant work-related transactions.
• Correctly identify and apply cost coding for all requisitions and assist colleagues in this process.
• Convert maintenance requests into planned work orders, including scope definition, parts identification, and kit list preparation.
• Contribute to safety, environmental management, and the protection of company assets and property.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a maintenance planning background.• Support in material management tasks.• 2–3 years of planning experience in a related field in mining or mineral processing operations.• Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling principles.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.• Ability to read, understand, and maintain mechanical drawings, schematics, manuals, and relevant technical literature.• Strong prioritization, organizational, and reasoning skills, with proficiency in follow-up and feedback.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.• Ability to scope jobs and understand how they are executed.
