- Compile and maintain a comprehensive database of cost information and expenses.
- Develop and implement data accumulation systems to enhance financial tracking.
- Assess and calculate fixed costs, including salaries, rent, and insurance.
- Strategically plan and document variable costs, such as raw material purchases and operational expenses.
- Review and analyze discrepancies between standard and actual costs to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare detailed budgeting reports for both the organisation and individual departments.
- Conduct analyses of profit margins and provide insights for financial decision-making.
- Generate cost forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the construction or sales industry.Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Odoo system. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience working with cross-functional teams.
