We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Office Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and following up on all financial and technical documentation related to client and subcontractor invoices, variation orders, and project deliverables, ensuring compliance with contractual and financial terms.
Responsibilities:
Prepare all supporting documents (price variances, materials on site, deductions, adjustments, and final certificates) in line with the financial terms of the contract to finalize client invoices, based on total contractual work volume received from the PCS team.
Submit invoices to the consultant and follow up for approval.
Prepare and upload all monthly subcontractors’ invoices on the ERP system.
Collect all supporting documents for client and subcontractors’ variation orders.
Issue and coordinate shop drawings for submission and approval by the site consultant.
Break down approved quantities (all disciplines) received from the site engineering section using traditional methods.
Monitor Purchase Requisitions (PRs) on the ERP system.
Initiate integrated subcontractors’ SR in coordination with all site parties.
Review major subcontractors’ invoices in accordance with contracts and budgeted quantities.
Arrange and coordinate material supply schedules within the project’s target plan.
Analyze cost control reports.
Organize and maintain detailed project invoice logs.
Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.
Review and study project contract documents (time schedule, design drawings, BOQ, etc.).
Prepare monthly reports presenting the current status of executed work.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.5+ years of experience in technical office work, quantity surveying, and invoicing (preferably in the contracting/construction sector).Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Strong analytical and organizational skills.Excellent communication and follow-up skills.Knowledge of contractual and financial terms in construction projects is a plus.
