- Develop and manage Building Information Modeling (BIM) for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems throughout all project phases.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate integration of MEP models with architectural and structural designs.
- Prepare, review, and update detailed MEP BIM models, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts between MEP systems and other building components using BIM software.
- Generate construction documents, shop drawings, and as-built models from BIM data for on-site execution.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to provide technical support and resolve design issues.
- Implement and maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows for MEP projects.
- Conduct regular quality checks and audits on BIM models to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior BIM engineers and drafters.
- Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, tools, and best practices relevant to MEP engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.3 to 5 years of experience in MEP BIM engineering within the construction industry.Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD MEP.Strong understanding of MEP systems design, coordination, and construction processes.Experience in clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution.Ability to interpret and produce detailed MEP drawings and documentation.Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with industry standards and BIM execution plans.
