- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of construction sites and facilities to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions and toolbox talks for employees, contractors, and site visitors.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, training, and compliance documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to integrate safety best practices into daily operations.
- Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and availability of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices.
- Promote a proactive safety culture by encouraging hazard reporting and employee engagement in safety initiatives.
- Assist in the development and review of emergency response plans and participate in emergency drills.
- Stay updated on new safety regulations, technologies, and industry trends to continuously improve safety standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.1-3 years of experience in a safety coordination or similar role, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector.Strong knowledge of Egyptian and international safety regulations, standards, and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage diverse teams.Proven ability to conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to safety challenges.Flexibility to adapt to changing site conditions and project requirements.
