Responsibilities

  • Participating in developing the company strategy and communicating with other functional heads to understand all the necessary needs of HR in light with the business goals and objectives i.e.: Manpower Plan, Training Plan.
  • Developing the annual HR business plan including the HR objectives, outputs, timeframe, and needed budget to achieve the company’s mission and objectives with the cooperation of his direct reports.
  • Working with his direct reports on developing, managing and controlling the HR division plans and activities within the agreed budget.
  • Attending, presenting, analyzing and comparing the actual performance, and expenditure of the HR division against the business plan, through regular meetings with the CEO.
  • Creating, updating and approving the job profiles as well as the departmental structures with the cooperation of the HR development manager and the division heads.
  • Participating in developing the company competency model and ensure that model is linked to the HR systems and practices i.e.: selection, appraisal, and training.
  • Establishing, and following up the use of the staffing policies, procedures, tools, methods, and regulations.
  • Ensuring that the department managers/heads are updated, trained and well informed by the staffing methods and techniques.
  • Working with the HR Operations Manager on updating and approving the grading system and salary structure & ensure that the compensation system is comparable to the market.
  • Overseeing and improving the company employees’ relations and communication system to ensure staff engagement and better motivation.
  • Ensuring that the overall working environment is up to standard at all times.
  • Creating, controlling and improving the HR policies and procedures with the cooperation of his direct reports.
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR management.
  • Providing ongoing reports on HR issues, updates, opportunities, achievements along with recommendations to the company CEO and concerned parties.
  • Participating in developing the staff benefits scheme and corporate deals with well-known providers and agencies and with the cooperation of his direct reports.
  • Monitoring and controlling the personnel function/activities and ensure fairness, and alignment with the internal rules and local laws.
  • Supervising the implementation of the corrective actions based on the reports of the internal and external audit.
  • Guiding, coaching and monitoring the implementation of the heads/managers to the performance management system, methods and techniques.
  • Contributing to the development plans of the management team in co-operation with the functional heads and EKH team.
  • Approving and supervising the execution of the training plan based on staff needs and management recommendations.
  • Reviewing reports and seeking feedback on the training effectiveness and training providers’ performance.
  • Establishing and reporting to the CEO and concerned parties on the company’s staff development initiatives i.e.:
  • succession planning, coaching program, etc.
  • Managing, directing and coaching the direct reports.
  • Ongoing evaluation for direct reports performance and ensuring clear understanding for areas of weakness and strengths & creating action plans for improvement.
  • Assuming other duties assigned by the CEO.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in business or equivalent.A post graduate study in HR field is a must.MBA is a plus.From (15 years) to (20 years') of experience. With minimum of 5 years in high managerial positions.
