- Establish and implement appropriate internal controls and procedures to ensure accuracy of records, handling of receivables, payables, and other accounting transactions.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of the chart of accounts to reflect business requirements and align with accounting practices and organizational policies.
- Develop a process for recording financial entries, ensuring a proper system for general ledger transactions that accurately reflects all organizational activities and complies with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Apply direct cost accounting methods and allocate costs across departments, clients, and developers in accordance with approved budgets, contractual agreements, and financial regulations.
- Direct the creation of payment and receivable processes to ensure a proper system for recording and managing transactions in line with accounting practices and organizational policies.
- Oversee the fixed assets process to ensure accurate recording, depreciation, and valuation of assets in compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
- Manage aged receivables in line with company standards and business strategy, ensuring overdue accounts remain within acceptable thresholds.
- Review, investigate, and correct errors in financial entries, statements, trial balances, documents, and reports.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Outlook.Experience: 7–10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a proven role as an Accounts Manager.Leadership & Management: Excellent supervisory and managerial skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead accounting teams effectively.Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.Organizational & Time Management: Exceptional skills in organizing tasks and managing time efficiently under pressure.Accounting Systems & Tax Preparation
