- Develop and manage detailed structural BIM models using industry-standard software such as Revit and Navisworks.
- Collaborate closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate integration of structural elements within multidisciplinary models.
- Prepare and coordinate structural drawings, schedules, and documentation in compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues between structural and other building systems.
- Implement and maintain BIM standards, templates, and workflows to ensure consistency and quality across all structural models.
- Support the design team in optimizing structural systems for cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and constructability.
- Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and BIM expertise to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs in alignment with project timelines and milestones.
- Stay updated with emerging BIM technologies and best practices to continually enhance project delivery.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on BIM modeling and coordination.Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.Strong understanding of structural systems, construction methods, and building codes.Experience in multidisciplinary coordination and clash detection within BIM environments.Ability to interpret and produce detailed structural drawings and documentation.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols (e.g., ISO 19650, BS 1192).Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
