Prepare and review shop drawings for structural works in accordance with project specifications and engineering standards.
• Develop accurate reinforcement detailing drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and translate them into precise execution drawings.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed quantity surveying reports.
• Assist in preparing payment certificates and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with design, site, and project management teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain high accuracy and quality in reviewing and approving technical documents.
• Use AutoCAD, ASD, and Microsoft Office tools to develop and manage technical documentation.
Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering• Minimum of 6 years of experience in technical office and shop drawing works for construction projects• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and ASD• Experience in preparing reinforcement detailing drawings and bar bending schedules• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings and convert them into precise execution drawings• Good knowledge of technical specifications and building codes• Strong skills in quantity surveying and preparing payment certificates• High accuracy in reviewing drawings and coordinating with engineering teams
