Job Purpose

• Carry out daily treasury activities in accordance with established processes and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete treasury procedures for payables, ensuring that bank payments are accurately reflected and that journal entries/ledgers are updated in accordance with accounting processes.
• Assist the direct manager in tracking incoming receivables from the bank and completing incoming payment entries for collections.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies.
• Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, resolving discrepancies and following up on outstanding balances.
• Aid the direct manager in the quarterly closing of accounting sheets.
• Maintain documentation for treasury transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
• Follow the established process to issue Letters of Guarantee (LGs) and Letters of Credit (LCs) necessary for the business.
• Assist the direct manager in monitoring the status of current LGs and LCs until they are resolved.
• Help the direct manager investigate any discrepancies with the bank to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop various reports, forecasts, and metrics related to treasury activities to facilitate decision-making.
• Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow reports to support treasury operations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
