Homeroom Teacher

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational philosophy.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents to support academic and personal development.
  • Develop individualized learning plans to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and collaborative school community.
  • Implement classroom management strategies that promote respect, responsibility, and a love of learning.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Organize and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior in compliance with school policies.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to continuously improve instructional practices and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a homeroom teacher or in a similar teaching role.Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.Demonstrated ability to teach multiple subjects at the elementary or primary school level.Strong classroom management and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in integrating technology into classroom instruction.Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and school activities.Fluency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
