Quality Control Engineer – Export Focus

  • Perform final quality inspections of finished garments in the warehouse prior to shipment, checking for workmanship, measurements, labeling, packaging, and finishing accuracy.
  • Verify compliance with client specifications and export requirements (labeling, folding, polybag packing, carton details, etc.).
  • Apply AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards and other inspection protocols to evaluate product readiness.
  • Document inspection findings and issue QC reports including non-conformance details and corrective action recommendations.
  • Collaborate with production, finishing, and warehouse teams to resolve quality issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Ensure correct placement and clarity of labels, hangtags, barcodes, and export stickers.
  • Review export packing methods to ensure product protection and presentation align with customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement by suggesting modifications to reduce defects and enhance product consistency.
  • Maintain organized quality records and inspection reports for export documentation purposes.
  • Communicate proactively with supervisors and the export team regarding any shipment-holding issues.

Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts  (or a related discipline).1 to 3 years of experience in Quality Control within a garment or textile manufacturing/export environment.Strong knowledge of garment construction, finishing, and export packaging standards.Familiarity with international quality standards (e.g., AQL, ISO) and client-specific inspection procedures.Excellent attention to detail with strong observation and documentation skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).Ability to work in warehouse settings and under time-sensitive shipping deadlines.
