Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed mechanical shop drawings (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting) based on IFC drawings and project specifications.
- Prepare & review design drawings & calculation for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting).
- Coordinate with other disciplines to avoid clashes and ensure proper integration.
- Update drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, or coordination meetings.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and ensuring compliance with approved redlines and site modifications.
- Follow up on drawing submittals, approvals, and maintain logs of revisions and submissions.
- Ensure that all mechanical drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Review the material submittal and purchasing orders for mechanical system.
- Work closely with the procurement and site execution teams to reflect accurate and practical installation details.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.2–6 years of experience in mechanical design and/or shop drawing preparation, preferably in contracting or engineering firms.Strong proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit; knowledge of Navisworks is a plus.Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting) and related international standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA).Attention to detail and strong drawing/documentation accuracy.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to manage multiple drawing packages and meet tight deadlines.
