- Review tender documents - specs, drawings, Bill of Quantities, and ensure that clarifications are raised well in time to get better clarity on bid submission. Apply modifications, including reflections on pricing based on the client’s responses.
- Attend meetings with the project owner or consultant to obtain an overview of the project.
- Make sure the team is handling the material and service pricing process properly.
- Revise the breakdown cost estimation in response to the client’s Bill of Quantities “BOQ” and the client’s specific requirements.
- Review and supervise the preparation of commercial and technical proposals to ensure prompt and accurate compliance with the client’s requirements.
- Prepare a handover for the project, along with the project budget to be submitted and shared with the operations team.
- Monitor the project budget to ensure that all the project items are finished within the budget
- Supervise the revision of all material specs before issuing a PO to make sure technical requirements are complied.
- Involved in all cost and technical-related activities to make sure the project cost is not exceed the budget
Technical skills:Excellent knowledge of Piping system components.Familiar with different codes and standards such as ASME, ASTM, etc. Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word).Good user for AutoCAD 2D.Personal skills: Strong Leadership skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.Willingness to learn.Excellent Command of the written English language and very good command of the spoken English Language.Organizational and prioritization skills.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.Professional years of experience, Minimum: 3 - Maximum: 7Piping Background is preferred. PMP certification is an advantage. Experience as a site engineer is an advantage.
