- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure proper controls are in place.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Prepare HSE documentation including risk assessments, permits, MSDS, method statements, and safety manuals.
- Monitor and enforce PPE usage, safety signage, and emergency procedures.
- Deliver toolbox talks, HSE inductions, and safety training to employees and contractors.
- Liaise with government authorities and external auditors regarding HSE compliance and certifications.
- Track and report on HSE KPIs such as incident rates, training hours, and audit findings.
- Promote environmental sustainability through waste reduction, pollution control, and resource conservation practices.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) are preferred.Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in HSE roles, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.Strong knowledge of local labor laws, environmental laws, and international safety standards.Excellent communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and in a team under pressure and in dynamic environments.
