Job Description:
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and execution of company operations. This includes managing field services, workshop activities, machining, valve servicing, calibration jobs, and supply operations. The role ensures all services and product deliveries are executed on time, with high quality, and in accordance with customer expectations and internal standards. The Operations Manager also leads resource allocation, supervises cross-functional teams, and supports continuous improvement in operational efficiency and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and oversee daily operations across workshop, field service, and supply chain activities
Supervise and coordinate operational teams including engineers, technicians, drivers, and support staff
Manage job scheduling, resource planning, and operational priorities
Monitor progress and resolve any execution-related issues or delays
Oversee workshop machining, assembly, and repair processes
Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service execution both onsite and in-house
Support supply order fulfillment, inventory movement, and internal coordination with sales and warehouse
Approve job reports, time sheets, and operation-related documentation
Report key operational performance indicators and issues to senior management
Ensure alignment between customer requirements, job execution, and internal procedures
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or equivalentExperience:7 to 10 years in operations management or technical service deliveryPrior experience in the oil & gas or industrial service sector is strongly preferredTechnical Knowledge:Familiarity with testing, calibration, valve servicing, machining, and workshop operationsUnderstanding of job planning, field logistics, and service documentationBasic knowledge of inventory and supply handling processesSkills:Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skillsExcellent communication and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks under pressureProficient in Microsoft Office and operational planning softwareFluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantage
