- Develop and prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting software.
- Convert designs, sketches, and specifications provided by engineers into technical drawings.
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordinated layouts for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Collaborate closely with MEP engineers, architects, and other drafters to coordinate multidisciplinary drawings.
- Assist in the revision of drawings based on site changes, redlines, or updated design decisions.
- Participate in site visits or coordination meetings as required to ensure drawing accuracy and resolve design conflicts.
- Maintain drawing files, logs, and document control records according to company procedures.
3+ years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting, preferably in MEP or construction sectors.Proficient in AutoCAD, and ideally Revit MEP, Navisworks, or similar BIM software.Good knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.Understanding of MEP codes, standards, and detailing practices.Strong attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
