Manufacture EHS Manager

Job Objective:

Lead and manage the EHS function at the manufacturing site to ensure full compliance with legal, corporate, and industry-specific standards, and to promote a proactive safety culture through risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Environment

Internal and external interactions i.e.: with other departments/divisions, international scope, providers, customers…)

Internal: Operations, Quality, Maintenance, HR, Engineering, Compliance
External: Regulatory Authorities, Third-Party Auditors, Contractors, Suppliers
Key responsibility 
• Develop and implement site-specific EHS programs
• Lead audits and inspections, ensuring corrective action implementation
• Conduct risk assessments and HAZOP studies
• Monitor legal compliance and maintain permits/licenses
• Drive sustainability and environmental initiatives
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses
• Serve as EHS liaison with regulatory bodies

Academic experience required Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering or related field. NEBOSH Certified is Must.Professional Experience Required8–10 years in EHS roles within the pharmaceutical or process industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Lead ISO 45001,14001 certificatesComputing Skills MS Office, EHS Management Systems (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)Personal SkillsLeadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, team managementLanguages Fluent in English and Arabic
