Information Technology Service Desk Specialist

Job Role:

Responsible for supporting and maintaining Shiny White users’ IT systems and for providing efficient support to all business users. Also responsible for resolving any IT-related faults quickly and efficiently in-line with SLAs, which includes a broad range of queries

Main Responsibilities:

Providing end-user support.
Supporting and maintaining MS Server/Desktops.
Supporting and maintaining Office Solutions.
Supporting and maintaining Business Solutions under supervision of Team Leader.
Escalate IT issues within the team where necessary.
Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
Installing authorized software to laptops and desktops.
Troubleshoot desktop and system problems, diagnose and solve hardware/software.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues and solve it.
 


Education:Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science, Engineering or BIS.Relevant Experience and Qualifications:At Least 1 Year ExperienceGood in Incident and Problem ManagementGood organizational, time management and prioritization skillsAbility to communicate confidently and clearly to users both face to face and over the telephoneStrong written and verbal skills and the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation.Well Understanding of ERP Systems concepts.Network trouble shooting, TCP/IP and general WAN/ LAN trouble shooting.
