Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop catering menus, including live stations and customized offerings for corporate and private events.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and flavor in line with Abou Shakra’s brand standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, inventory, and supplier relationships to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead, train, and inspire a team of chefs and kitchen staff to perform at the highest level.
- Implement strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols (HACCP compliance).
- Stay up to date with culinary trends and integrate innovative dishes and techniques into our offerings.
- Collaborate with the events and operations teams to tailor menus for client requirements and dietary preferences.
- Oversee live cooking stations and ensure seamless execution during catering events.
RequirementsProven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef, ideally in catering or hospitality.Expertise in Egyptian, Middle Eastern, and international cuisines.Strong leadership and team management skills.Creative approach to menu development and presentation.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.
