- Good knowledge of MES concepts (production tracking, OEE, traceability, work orders)
- Experience with databases: SQL Server, Oracle
- Experience integrating MES with:
- ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle)
- PLC/SCADA systems
- Shop-floor machines
- Familiarity with scripting or programming:
- PowerShell, Python, C#, or JavaScript
- Understanding of network protocols like OPC UA, MQTT, and REST APIs
- Reporting and dashboard tools (e.g., Power BI, Crystal Reports)
Bachelor’s degree in: ( Computer Science - Information Technology - Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering - Automation ) or a related field.2–5+ years in a manufacturing or industrial IT environment.Hands-on experience with MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, GE Proficy, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Wonderware, Apriso, etc.).Understanding of manufacturing processes (discrete, batch, or continuous).Problem-solving and analytical mindset.Strong communication (ability to talk to both IT and production teams).Documentation and training capabilities.Project management or change management knowledge is a plus.
