- Develop detailed structural designs for steel Members and Steel Connections ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASCE, AISC, Eurocodes).
- Perform structural analysis using various software tools (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD. Pro) for static and dynamic loads.
- Lead and manage multiple projects from concept through completion, coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Prepare and present design proposals, progress reports, and final project documentation.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and design staff, providing technical guidance and support.
- Foster a collaborative environment within the engineering team, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development.
- Produce and review detailed design calculations and shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
- Conduct design checks and peer reviews to maintain high-quality standards throughout the design process.
- Provide technical support during construction, including answering RFI's (Requests for Information) and resolving design-related issues.
- Prepare thorough documentation for design calculations, drawings, and reports.
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical) to ensure integrated project delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from a Well-known University.Minimum 8 years of professional experience in structural steel design and consulting in several types of buildings (commercial, airports, bridges, sports facilities, industrial, etc.).Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as STAAD, SAP2000, Robot, and ETABS.Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., AISC, Eurocodes, ASCE).Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, etc.).Proficiency in Connections Design software (e.g., Ram Connections, Limcon, IDEA StatiCa, etc.).Leadership Skills.Previous Experience in team leading is a MUST.
