Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Team Lead to lead and develop a team of analysts responsible for gathering, analyzing, and delivering from publicly available sources. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of OSINT methodologies, digital investigations, and threat landscapes.
Qualifications
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in intelligence, cybersecurity, law enforcement, or investigative research, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience leading OSINT or intelligence analysis teams
- Deep knowledge of OSINT techniques, tools (e.g., Maltego, Recon-ng, Spiderfoot), and other frameworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in OSINT methodologies, including advanced techniques for social media intelligence (SOCMINT), deep/dark web investigations, metadata analysis, geolocation, social listening and data correlation.
- Experience utilizing Commercial-Off-The-Shelf OSINT tools which include but are not limited to OSINT Tool Kit applications.
- Demonstrated experience in a field related to OSINT research, collection management, or analysis or the exploitation of PAI or social media.
- Strong writing and presentation skills with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with social media analysis, threat actor profiling, and investigations.
- Experience managing operational risks in online investigations.
- In dept knowledge of OSINT systems both in product and technology.
- Proven experience in product management and development of different open-source tools.
- Strong Data collection and automation platforms (e.g., Python scripts, APIs, scraping frameworks) knowledge and implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution
- Proven ability to create high-quality analytical reports, threat assessments, and strategic intelligence briefings tailored to diverse audiences (executives, law enforcement, clients).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple investigations or projects simultaneously while mentoring and developing team members.
- Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal—with the ability to brief senior stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong critical thinking and investigative mindset with proven problem-solving abilities.
