Fleet technical specialist/engineer

Provide timely technical support to fleet and maintenance staff by addressing vehicle-related issues and inquiries using a comprehensive checklist.

Audit and verify all post-maintenance work, including mechanical, electrical, software, and periodic maintenance tasks, to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Collaborate closely with internal maintenance teams and external vendors to coordinate repairs and ensure that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. Authorized to prevent any vehicle from leaving the workshop if repair standards are not met.

Maintain accurate records of all technical support activities, repairs, and maintenance performed on fleet vehicles, ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Review and audit preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the operational life of fleet vehicles.

Provide training and ongoing support to fleet supervisors to ensure the consistent and daily implementation of all technical and operational requirements across workshops.


Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience working with diesel engines, including diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.Strong understanding of vehicle electrical, mechanical, and software systems.Hands-on experience in fleet maintenance or technical support roles is preferred.Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and workshop auditing processes.Ability to analyze technical issues and provide effective, timely solutions.Strong communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams and external vendors.Proficiency in maintaining technical documentation and reports.Ability to train and support workshop and fleet supervisors on technical standards and procedures.Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is a plus.
