Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional
support for our applications. The role involves addressing customer issues through the ZOHO
ticketing system and ensuring the smooth operation of our solutions. The successful candidate
will work on SQL Server databases, middleware, and front-end applications, with a focus on
installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via ZOHO ticketing system.
- Install and configure the API, front-end, and web applications on IIS.
- Debug and resolve application issues, including middleware and database integration
problems. - Manage and maintain SQL Server databases, jobs, and SQL scripts for system integration
with customer applications. - Install and maintain web applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Configure and manage SSL certificates on application servers.
- Ensure secure and efficient connectivity using TCP/IP networks and remote access points
(VPN). - Collaborate with clients and team members to identify and address bugs and performance
issues. - Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and installation procedures for internal and
client use on ZOHO Knowledge base. - Report projects status accurately to technical support manager.
Job RequirementsTechnical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including experience with jobs and integrationSQL scripts.Strong understanding of middleware systems, particularly ASP.NET Core API hosted onIIS web servers.Hands-on experience with front-end technologies developed using Angular.Expertise in deploying and configuring applications on IIS.Experience in installing and maintaining web applications.Ability to configure and install SSL certificates on application servers.Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, VPN, and remote access configurations.Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar technical support role.Familiarity with ZOHO ticketing systems or similar platforms is a plus.Experience in attendance systems or a related domain is an advantage.Additional Requirements:Based in Cairo, Egypt.Commitment to working hours aligned with clients in Qatar.
